Lets see, you traded a project for a finished ride, that right there deserves kudos. IMO trading from a 72 down to a 70 makes the deal even sweeter. Way to go!   :clapping:  :woo:   :burnout:

Agreed, but is it my imagination or does it seam like 1972 to 1974 Cudas tend to draw a little better price over a 1972 to 1974 Challenger in roughly the same condition?  Just a thought, but that's what I see.

I know I prefer the 72-74 Barracuda over the same years of Challenger but then again I prefer the Barracuda overall anyway.  :dunno:
1971 Challenger (OO==== ====OO) getting close!
1970 Challenger (OO########OO) long ways off

He did own the car at one time, but that's not who I traded with.

Who had it after him, big John?

good looking car both of them. your 72 is one of the best looking of that year to me but the chally is sweet too.

Probably has to do with the lower production numbers for the Barracuda vs. Challengers during those years.  I've always leaned towards the Barracuda/Cuda's myself, but would love to pick up a Challenger sometime down the road.  Maybe a new one.....

Got to drive it a bit this weekend. Pulling the motor in a friend's car for some detail work. Decided I could use the extra space in my garage for the project, so we decided to swap cars. That gave me the excuse to get it out in the freezing weather and put some miles on it.

Anyway, it runs like a raped ape with those 3.91 gears. A little light in the nose above legal speeds. I'm looking forward to a more in depth shake down.... once all this snow melts. Got another 5" last night. Will spring ever come!?!?
