« on: February 02, 2010 - 09:40:32 PM »
Looking for replacements for my green lower trim ....left and right.   Plus the radio bezel for a stereo AM/FM ....just the standard model.

Let me know if you have and of the above pieces.    Thanks .... CHAPS

Anyone got any?

Thanks .....

What other plastic parts do you have for the interior?
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

I think the '70 challenger trim you're talking about is unique to 1970. These aren't mine, just pics I have on my putter. I believe the top one is '70 Challenger and the bottom one is for everything else. Anyone can correct me if I'm wrong and please do so if that's the case.

I agree guys ..... the 1970 year was unique.   Not necessarily better ????    None the less the pieces for 1970 end in part numbers with 44 and 45 at the end.    I believe that the 71-74 version is 24 and 25 at the end of the part number.

I am trying to stay true to the year of my car (1970), so I would prefer to use the correct pieces for all thos that will want to scrutinize.   As mentioned, I do have the originals that have been painted.   If I can't find nice original black pieces, I will just stick with what I have.

Thanks for your interest so far.

Chaps, the thing with running the 71-74 piece (under the radio anyway/this was my prob) is that they dont "fit" exactly correct - they go "on" but I noticed a difference when I switched mine out right away.  :grinyes:

Good to know .... I am going to stick with the originals unless I find some really clean black replacements.

Cheers .... Gary

Gary:   If you have your originals and they are in nice shape (except for color) -- I'd try to re-dye them as I'm sure they'd come out nice.....  Check out SEM Black Trim....     What are you doing for door panels?
