hood pin question

i was working on fitting my hood today and noticed that the screw holes for the hood pins are not the same from one side to the other side of the hood. i believe this is a factory hood pin hood, so was wondering if they came like this from the factory or were these added later and badly?

probably not factory , the screws should be square as in 4:30,7:30,10:30& 1:30 position
