Minimum recommended pressure is 10# per 1k rpm's

If I cant fix it, it's broke

with a std  press pump idle should be 20+ & 40-45 at 2500 with engine warm
with a high pressure pump 40+ at idle 60-70 or higher at 2500

When is a high pressure or high volume pump really needed?  Seems like most street motors would be just fine with a stock replacement.

:iagree: I have a rebuilt 440 6-Pack with a stock pump and no pressure issues.
