Weight Watchers & McDonalds
« on: March 03, 2010 - 03:01:45 AM »
Weight Watchers & McDonalds have joined together in New Zealand to promote each other. Apparently some of the McDonald products (nuggets I think) are OK by Weight Watchers standards.   :poopoke:
Money talks,   :money:  the report I have just seen, the media was encouraged not to attend. McDonalds seem to be able to do, sell, advertise anything they choose. I noticed their ads here in Australia now say that they make your burger while you wait like Burger King have always done here and not have them sitting on the rack for 20 mins.   :stirpot:

I agree, we call them McPuke burgers, I drove a youth bus for many years and the teenagers always wanted to stop in, I usually passed as the management would offer me free burgers for bringing 40 + customers in.

Love McDonalds, have eaten there for fifty years or so. Love their 99 cent burgers. But, I love White Castle, In-n-out, Sonic too.

When you mentioned burgers sitting on the rack for 20 minutes, heck, when I bbq burgers, it takes my kids twenty minutes to show up at the table when I announce "dinners ready".

OMG TopCat, Look at that.  I will be honest.  I wish so badly I could eat that.  ummm.  That is what I miss most about eating right, just being able to down a burger whenever I want.

I've always been good at eating right most of the time and working at the gym, but I noticed when I really focused on my diet (size of meals, timing and eating the right foods for what energy I need) I saw the best results.

Here's a picture.

Oh, and I can't remember the last time I set foot in a McD's.

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
