.............1978 was the only year 4 bb lu trannys[non elect]..in cars................i have had 727 lu in trucks[non elect]..........i have only seen 904-998-999 lu with elect in trucks..........some cars non elect........and yes lu 727 do strip off the tork converter splines, 904 styles break off the converter hub.........dont ask me how i know this..............kim.........
