I have pretty much decided to keep it and make me another driver. I purchased a whole mess of sheet metal (trunk pan, tail panel, rear bumper filler, driver's front floor, driver's rear floor, front and rear valances) at the Indy show for a really great price so I can make someone a nice package deal. As soon as my buddy comes over with the welder everything changes.

I was at the Indy swap meet last weekend. I didnt see ya around. sorry I missed you.  Had a great time with the other members there.  And Sprecks just reached down in his pile of parts he was selling and gave me a very cool gift for my wall. I was shocked.   Hope your build goes well

Sorry, I typically have my eyes toward the ground or table tops so I rarely recognize anyone unless I run into them. I wasn't sure who all was going to be there but I was there Saturday and Sunday.

I removed the rear bumper and taillights last night. There's some rust in the tail panel to trunk floor seam so buying those parts was actually a smart idea. Yay me!

I forgot to get pictures of the floor pans. I'll try to do that tonight. While I was crawling around under it last night I saw that it does have a 489 center section with a pinion snubber but I don't know what gears. There's a bracket for an electric fuel pump as well so I'm guessing that huge racing tire on the passenger side was there for a reason. The sticker on the license plate is from 1985.

No, the black Charger was originally black. The previous owner wanted to see how purple would look (his wife asked) so he sprayed a little in the engine compartment but it came out more of a lavender color. That car already sold.
