We're in the process of putting in a new Vintage Air unit. You're right, for an e-body you have to use their "universal" kit. It hasn't been a piece of cake so far. We've had to fabricate the new interior venting and are having to figure out a way to fit their control panel into the original hole for the a/c...it's 1/4 larger. Once we figure it all out, I think it will be a great unit. The thing we didn't like about the original was the big black compressor sitting in front of the engine. The Sanden compressor is much smaller and looks oh so much better...imo.
