Jack's Auto Parts ???
« on: September 30, 2004 - 03:36:42 AM »
Anyone ever had a problem ordering parts from Jack's?   I placed an order over a week ago and was supposed to get a confirmation email but never did.  They won't respond to e-mails and no one seems to answer the phone there.  I'm starting to worry because I gave them my credit card number with my order.  >:(

You'll be fine mate. Places like that are usualy a little slow. Yearone, Tonysparts and Mancini are VERY quick. Tonys parts were a little slow with one of my first orders but 10 orders later they have been nothing but goodness!  :D

Send an email with you order number, if you don't have one find the parts, the part #'s, the date the order was purchased and ask them to advise status of order ASAP.  ;) Always works.

I have never used Jacks but have order HEAPS of parts from the states and do know what I'm talking about.

I'd like to hear how this turns out for my own future reference so please keep us informed.

All the best and I hope it's nothing more than a little laziness. :)

Cheers,
Carl

I've had nothing but good transactions dealing with Jacks, I usually got my orders within 2 days. I can guarantee that they are at Carlisle this week though. Your order may not ship until they get back to the shop on Monday if it didn't ship before they left. They usually leave for the big shows on Tues I think.

I never did biz with them yet, but from what I hear, they're one of the best.  I wouldn't worry, they're proably so busy!  Great if you go in person I heard also ( well then again Im only an hour or so away from them!)

I tell you they don't handle e-mail very well!  I ordered stuff and the same happened to me!! No e-mail what so ever!!  Finally did get someone on the phone and . . . my order was already shipped!!   ;D   So nothing to bad to say from me other than they suck on the e-mail side of the world!   :P

They were at Carlisle so that may have something to do with it.  They were also at another show in NJ last weekend.  I was very impressed with him.  I don't know if it was Jack or not but he knew his stuff.  I would do business with them again.

Yeah,
I've ordered a few things from them without any problems, but they do not send you any E-mail to confirm delivery. Kind of leaves you guessing when you order online.
