Challenger out and about... Grand Spaulding Dodge
« on: March 08, 2010 - 03:12:39 PM »
Been driving the Challenger for almost a week since my RamCharger developed some issues.

So this weekend I thought, what the heck, I'm going to drive into a bad neighborhood and take some pictures of an old dealership... Which happens to be the remains of Grand Spaulding Dodge.

Take a look here for all the pictures

Cool idea, Ryan.  That IS sad to see the dealership looking like that.  I actually didn't know it was still there.

It is interesting to venture out like that.  I've done that here in Detroit, looking for old auto factories and stuff.  Actually, one time in Chicago, we drove around to a bunch of filming locations from 'The Blues Brothers', too.  Some of those weren't in the greatest areas...

Thanks for sharing.  Great looking car, BTW!

It is sad to see the dealership that way.  The area is really terrible where it is at, which leads to stuff like this.

Thanks, the car is actually filthy!

:iagree:  Yep, sad that dealership is just rotting away....

I remeber in an old issue of Mopar Collecter's Guide How a guy found the Mr. Norms Super Charger just sitting in that dealership collecting dust, if I recall the story right.
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
