To answer a couple of questions .
The long block was rebuilt probably 15-20 years ago. It was placed in the car ( original AAR ) and run maybe 3 years give or take?
I believe this is the same time the new carbs were bought ( all 3 )
I think he told me it was standard bore but I'll double ck later this week when he drops if off at my shop which is where it can be looked at and picked up from. ( owner travels way to much to handle this himself ) . It is NOT the #'s engine to his car .
Would I personally run it without doing anything to it? Probably ,,, but only because I know the owner and I trust him if he said it had no issues when it was removed.
But I would recomend to the new owner pull it down for an internal inspection at the very least if for nothing else but for peace of mind. The TA heads are NOT on the engine and are going to take some work to repair. And yes they do include the TA rocker assys . But I don't think the valve covers are the so called " T/A only" versions .
