yet another E-body fuel tank question
« on: October 02, 2004 - 02:58:22 PM »
now that I have the trunk pan out, I have excellent visibility to the top of the tank. Previous owner reported it would leak when filled up. After driving it around it appears the leak is coming from the large donut seal that surrounds filler tube entry point.

Where can I get a new rubber grommet to replace it?

FYI, it turns out that part is still a dealer stock item. Guess they are still using that grommet on some other Chrysler-Plymouth products

Price is a few dollars cheaper than the repro guys
