I just discovered that eBay removed the Elvis Cuda listing -- who knows why for sure, but it is curious.
It probably did not help that the seller was called out by name in the MA correction release, along with a question as to why the listing had not been pulled. Apparently this car was also supposed to go through a Leake auction in San Antonio later this month, and they had been publicizing it as the Elvis car, then had to eat crow. It's pretty irresponsible for these people (MA and Leake included) to jump all over this stuff without doing the slightest bit of research to determine the validity. Sorry about the rant but it pisses me off when people try to pass things off as something that they are not, and say stuff like, rarest of the rare, top of the line, once in a lifetime chance, finest ever, and the list goes on.
