big block 727 lower slapstick trans rod
« on: March 28, 2010 - 09:20:18 PM »
While cleaning up the lower trans linkage rod from the trans gear selctor lever to torque shaft for floor shift on a slapstick system, this rod had a small stamped "s" about at the midway area. Does this "s" stamping indicate that this is the lower rod for a slapstick linkage system? I believe the slaptick had it's own lower rod. This is a 727 big block trans for which I am trying to piece together a T-handle slapstick setup. Just trying to confirm that I have the correct rod. Thanks for any reply. Sorry about no pictures as I am new to this.

Thanks for the reply and picture. I apologize for the slow response as I am really busy these days.  I have the factory service manual for the car and that picture. I'm just going to assume that I have the correct lower control rod. Thanks again
