Funny thing. I got my car fixed. It was a fuel issue.
http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=66191.45The ballast resistor is not too hot now. After 15 minutes of running it's hot but you can still touch it. I am still going to rewire it and clean it up a bit. For now the car runs great.
