    Trim clip issue

    Hey guys,
       I just got the new vinyl top on and was replacing the clips and trim that surrounds the vinyl on the back. Just got a new set of clips and a member sold me a really nice set of trim. I installed the clips but when I went to clip on the trim it keeps popping off. The trim from what I can tell is in perfect shape. It is like the clips are just a hair to narrow. Any tips?

    If so, do you have SE trim (wider) with standard trim (narrow) clips?

    Is that more rare?
    I just got this trim and I don't know how to tell which I have. Although it is looking more like SE. Do they make clips for it?

    Tom at R/T Specialties has clips for just about everything.

    From memory, the normal trim is about 5/8" & the SE trim is about 3/4"

    Is that trim rare? I don't think I have ever seen but 1 SE car.

    All SEs came with vinyl tops, so I would say no.

    What is an SE car. What made them different? Other then the rear trim I mean.

    A vinyl top with a smaller rear window opening. An overhead console inside. I'm sure there are smaller items too, but it was to be the luxury version of the Challenger.
