73 D200 crew cab long bed
« on: April 03, 2010 - 10:26:10 AM »
1973 Dodge D200 Crew cab, rebuilt 440 and 727 automatic, new brake pads and shoes  with only 12,000 miles on all them. Rebuilt 440 is a '71 block that has premium internals with forged crank, Keith Black pistons, Total Seal rings, dry film and thermal barrier coatings, special towing cam, aluminum intake, 44bl carb, headers, and custom dual exhaust with x pipe. Dyno tuned to maximize horsepower and torque that pulls like a diesel  and still will get 16 mg on the highway. 2wd chassis with 4:10 dana 60 rear and 33" new rear tires. Interior has been refurbished to include a new headliner, later model seats and trim, full carpeting, all new seat belts,  and a rebuilt wire harness. Factory installed options include a/c (isn't hooked up now), dual tanks (one not hooked up), and exterior cargo lamp. I removed the in cab tank and have an additional replacement frame tank I'll include with the purchase to restore the dual tank status. Options I've added include tilt column from a later model Dodge, cruise control(not hooked up) additional interior cab lighting, tachometer, 6 speaker stereo and MSD ignition, electric towing brakes. Interior is refinished in Dark Shadow Blue metallic. I have all receipts of the build and they total over $6000 to date.  Body is in average condition for its age and it could use some smoothing out and a paint job. It appears that there  is old  filler that is showing some signs of aging and is cracking. The driver's side rear door has a wrinkle in it and there are various dings and chips throughout. Paint finish is inconsistent.  Wheel wells in bed need replaced and the bed floor is wavy. There is no rot, but it has developed some pin hole rust spots. You could not duplicate all this work for this price. This is a great foundation to an awesome ride and all the hard work has been done. All you need to do is finish the body, lay down a coat of paint and your set. $3500 firm. highplains@comcast.net
