could the "keywords" that insert smileys be modifed to a consistent scheme, such as having colons before and after the word? That way if someone really intends to type b-e-e-r or g-u-i-t-a-r etc... in as a word, not a smiley it will show up that way. that way reading posts doesnt take quite as much deciphering.
