Al,
If my car is faster than you 499 6-pack, or whatever you have, then I will be shocked. But this baby does get up and go. I definitely notice the rear tires have more tread wear than the fronts. What would cause this?
Rob,
I am the only one to drive this car since I bought it. I suppose if someone much shorter than I, with the front of the seat lifted a bit more and that person weighing maybe 50-60 pounds less than me, there might not be a problem. I get your point though.
There is always the operator error factor.
Wally,
Here is my history. My original 6-way was frozen in both the back and front going up and down. I Took it out and lubed it all well. The front started working right away, but the back was always frozen all the way up. So this unit was fine until I nailed the gas pedal, then it would come up and try to throw me in the back seat.
The new unit is even scarier in that regard. Maybe I should find a position I like and weld that dang thing. Being on the tall side, I don't need the seat to be up all the way. Of course if I had a convertible, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
