Looks like we will drive up there Sunday, today is prom day for our one grandaughter, her first, and the school has a "review" where parents/grandparents etc. can go and see all the students before prom time in their dresses and tuxs.  Not my concept of a fun activity, but I should go along I guess. Maybe I'll convince Pam to just go out to their house for a visit and see her in her dress there, free up more of the day.

But we will go up on Sunday, just look for an old man with a very attractive short lady  :roflsmiley:  We probably will have c-c.c shirts and wear a Mopar related jacket. Hope to see some of you here, sounds fun. Been cooped up all winter so it will be good to get out for a drive and see some Mopar................ parts and cars.  :2thumbs:

We just got back.

Not a bad place to go if you are within 3 hrs drive.

I didnt get a whole lot.

I picked up vanity plate that reads "plymouth" on it.......just for the garage.

Got two gauge clusters (standard)...the first I bought thinking I could use the speedo from it (mine is going bad)....but then after I bought it I realized that the needle is resting below zero....so that got me thinking.  I ended up buying a second cluster that looks like it was redone and it is NICE!  The bonus is that it has a clock in it.  The guy says it all works. I guess we will see.  All in, $100 on both clusters.

That guy had a 71 hood I was considering for $300 but I passed.

We also bought a new Hemi engine.  Yes, a Hemi......superstock actually.

For $15.

Its a 1/4 scale model.     A good project for me and the kids to work on together.

There were several engines for sale ....there was a 72 340 that the guy claimed was uncut and ran for $700.....a few 440s and such....I didnt spend a lot of time looking at them.

I didnt find any of the stuff I was looking for...door panels, bits of hardware, and that elusive 72 Barracuda dash emblem.   :stomp:

But it was a nice day trip to take with the oldest boy (almost 11) and we had a nice day.   :2thumbs:
