    Prep after brake fluid ate paint?

     I had a brake fluid leak that ate some of my new paint. Is there anything special I need to do to get it ready for a repaint?
    I'm only doing the small area that was ruined.

    Scuff it up and make sure it is cleaned good.When I worked around brake fluid,if you pour water on the area that was exposed to the fluid right after contact it will not eat your paint.

    I'd scrub it real good and rinse off first before doing anything, brake fluid is very detergent and you may not get it all off when scuffing. It foams if you hit it with pressure washer
