Challenger Body parts
« on: August 25, 2010 - 10:46:07 PM »
I have some left over body pieces from my Challenger paint / resto project. I am hoping somebody can use these rather than me scrapping them. So here is the deal :
a Rallye hood, rear trunk lid and rear valance with cut outs that are for sale fairly cheap , all 3 pieces for a total of $200. Now please understand that these pieces are all flawed in some way. The hood is suffering from numerous dents both large and small on the flat surface (no dents on edges or corners) and would require a lot of hammer & dolly work and filler. The trunk lid has been previously repaired for rust along the rear edge and has some filler along that edge. The valance is also showing signs of a previous repair and has some waves in it. I am attaching pics of all three pieces and if anybody has a serious interest I can take more photos or welcome an in person inspection. The pieces are located in central New York and would need to be picked up as I am not interested in trying to ship them. Or as another option I might consider delivering in a few hour radius if the buyer was willing to cover my gas for doing so. You can either send me a PM or call my cell phone 315-382-5904.  Thanks

Paint code F3 for 1972 - in the Challenger sales brochure it was called Light Green Metallic . On the PPG chart it was called Fiesta Green Poly. Our car had been painted orange and had a black vinyl top when we purchased it.  Under three layers of paint was the original color, this shade of green.  My plan is to put a white vinyl top back on the car.
