As a general rule I HATE vinyl tops. One of my favorite parts of the Cuda is where the roof transitions to the trunk. The vinyl top totally disrupts that transition. Every once in a while depending on the car, the color of the car/top/interior, and the style of top, it looks okay. It is rare that a vinyl top E-body looks good to me. Usually it is a 68 Charger, or a 1971 Charger with the partial vinyl top (landau?).
I can only recall one E-body I've seen with a vinyl top that appealed to me. It was for sale on cudaworld.com back in 2003. It was a Kelly Green round tail light Cuda with white top and stripe, and green interior. It had Keystone rims, and was fitted with a 440-six pack. I thought it looked great. Of course I think it would have looked better without the vinyl, but even with it on I thought it was a sharp car.
