P G If "houses" were more sensibly built and priced, then they wouldn't have such outrageous prices AND interest rates.

I don't understand,  I bought my first house,  15 yr. loan, 9 % ( Carter Years ) paid off in 12.  Second house I had built, 20 year loan 5% ( Bush Years ) should be paid off in 15 ( If this Obama recession ever ends ).  Each time I didn't buy more house than I could afford,  didn't take out any subprime loans, in other words, I looked out for myself and my family.  I DID NOT expect the gubment to do that for me, I'm an adult. (OK, I know that will be up for debate ! )

Soooo you were a bail out  right ....  That means on some level you owe me and 48% of the conservatives thats got to cover your short comings . I bet you have student loans and vipers that I should also pay for am I right . Sarah Palin quit her job to focus on bigger projects rather than mooch Alaska for some easy cash But you couldn't understand such values , I could be wrong but I doubt it .GB

I'm sorry Hebe - you wanna run that by me again?  No, I wasn't a "bailout" - I never said I was a bailout.  And no, my income is MORE than enough to pay for my OWN student loans, cars, houses - whatever I want.  The only "handout" I've ever accepted was unemployment, and even then I never sat on it for more than 2 months - and frankly, that's what it's THERE FOR.

Oh, and, "bigger projects?"  I'm sorry, what "bigger projects" are those?  She wrote a book and goes around the country trying to charge a fortune to be a public speaker.  Sounds to me like she got a taste of the spotlight and can't let it go.  But then again, the entirety of your comment illustrates to me that you have NO idea what you're talking about.

And don't you ever question my "values"...

ViperMan,

Not to disagree with you, but I will.  You earned your unemployment and paid for it up front all the years you worked.

Someone have to question your values, since you sold an E-body to get some other car, and even got a Camaro in your wish list.  :poopoke:

(JK, the Viper is awesome, and I agree on the Camaro being a sweet piece of machinery)

As for Sarah Palin, I think we can all agree that's she's a lot hotter than the average granny.  :naughty:
