`cuda vs Mustang
« on: May 31, 2010 - 05:48:30 PM »
Driving today along rte 101 two lanes each direction with a median in between and I`m just cruising along at 70-75 in the outside lane.I come up alongside a Mustang, about an `89, going slower and as soon as I get next to him he speeds up and wants to play.I let him get up beside me and punch it leaving him about 4-5 lenghts behind me when I let off around 95-100 as there are cars ahead. He of course gets back up on my ass and wants some more punishment but I bide my time as there is a rest area ahead where the cops sometimes sit.As soon as I think it`s clear I again punch it with him still right behind me and now pull 6-7 lenghts on him running up to 100-105.I let off again as there is another car ahead and then I had the feeling he was going to do a ricer style fly by in the other lane till we both saw blue lights ahead.Luckily the statey already had somone pulled over so we both just cruised by.The Mustang hit the next off ramp and we both smiled at each other knowing it was a close call with the law!But of course my smile was wider knowing the `cuda got another kill!!!!!

Very good Jeff, I notice quite a bit more "car guys" around.  Need to hit the drag way together soon.

I went up to watch Nostalgia day this past Sunday and got the itch to go racing, only problem is I need a new sure grip unit as mine is TOAST and also a Snell 2000 helmet this year.  :banghead:

I'll ask around about a sure grip.  I did see one on Craigslist in Hooksett for 400ish with gears.
