No, that is set up properly. I've thought about trying a different pump cam, but I don't know a thing about how the different cams work and would be getting into unfamiliar territory so I've kind of shied away from that.

I'm probably not going to mess with the cams Neil, as I said that tech is over my head. One other thing I had considered was swapping carb bodies. I have a 600 (1850) body  and from what I've found on the subject on the net, using a 600 body with the 750 throttle plate will basically give you a 650 cfm carb. The 5.7 carbed crate motors are listed with a 650 vac. sec. carb. Apparently Mopar performance feels the 650 is a better choice than the 750? What are your thoughts on that?

I would stick with the 750 & try to tune it out , as I said I can help you with cam selection

Sounds good. I'll work on the squirter first and see if I can do any good there. Thanks Neil!

How Mopar--GM, etc does stuff who cares? They ran both companies in to the ground and cheated many many people. Heck if I ever look to them for good advice.

Back in the old old days things were  different. Talking mid 1960 when they were running two AFB carbs on a 273 motor!
