e body pistol grip
« on: April 24, 2010 - 08:26:57 PM »
Hello All!

This isn't really too significant, but has any one ever noticed that some pistol grips have the "hurst" indention that is red? I wonder hurst made them in the later years of the E and B bodies. I don't see them too often, but it looks factory.

I just bought an orginal shifter out of a 70 Cuda....no red paint on it.

That would look cool in a red car though.

No red paint ever - The factory originals and the reproduced units (licensed by Hurst) made by Gunslinger are correct in every way for restoration purposes.

The one reproduced are not correct in every way. The originals were thicker at the bottom, then thinner at the top by the grips. Take a look again.
