Will 3/4" header bolts be long enough with TTI headers and Indy EZ Heads?

Thanks Moparal.  I have some other headers on there for break in, and they must have a thinner flange.  The 1" bolts, with a washer (1/16"), are bottoming out with too much gap. Very disturbing.

The flange on the hedmans is 3/8" with a washer and 1" bolt, I am bottoming out on the EZ heads.  I still have my TTI's wrapped up, but am sure that they too have a 3/8" flange.  How thick of a washer are you using?  It seems that the 3/4" bolts are too short, even wo a washer.  Maybe I can grind down the 1" bolts?

why not measure the hole depth and figure out what it takes...or screw a bolt into the hole until it is bottomed and measure the the length inside plus the header flange thickness...and go from there...the washer should give you enuf to prevent bottoming afterward when torqued.

Or, use studs...

They do make 7/8th long bolts to, but make sure you get grade 8 or better.
