Original build sheet available
This 1971 challenger is powered by a very strong running 360 4 barrel V-8 with a Mopar 833 4 speed trans, that’s a plus 4 sure! - with Hurst pistol grip shifter.
Power steering , power disc brake car. New tires, Ralley suspension, new Dodge Ralley wheels with new trim rings and caps - new exhaust- new chrome bumpers, front and rear. New black, new vinyl top. New center console, seats - headliner - carpet - door panels all new or like new. Dash pad has cracks so I have a dash cover on it at this time. All gauges work, wipers work.
The paint on the car is older - the paint cleans up and shows well has nice shine - no dents or dings in body- see photos. It has your normal small paint chips and small scratches that all cars do. I would rate this car as a classic Challenger daily driver. Has had some rust repair done, rear frame rails replaced, patch panel on drivers floor. Car looks good and will turn heads for sure, it runs and sounds good.
The front glass has light scratch from wipers blade, all other glass looks very nice. Stainless trim on car looks good - has small dent in driver front alum headlight trim ring. The 360 motor is very strong running. No oil leaks or oil burning. The 4 speed trans shifts well -very tight no slop in linkage and all syncros work as they should. Trans picks up gear noise when in 2nd and 3rd gear. 1st and 4th sound norm to me. Local trans shop tells me its fine as -is. Trans shifts nice. Clutch in good shape.
Have new 3.55 gears and good sure grip center section for it but no time to put it in. Also have rear R/T valance panel with dual exhaust cut outs.
