Remeber, our stiffening parts were designed by engineers on a modern surface plate. Our combination of braces will achieve modern unibody stiffness levels, without the use of torque boxes.

Hmm. After reading through all this again, I may not bother with the torque boxes. Considering it would benefit so little after the addition of sub-frame connectors (which I already have) that is $400 that I don't have to spend.
Also I am just about finished gather body parts before she's off to the body shop so I am kind of eager to get that finished lol.

Pete, have any of the engineers at XV ever played around with models of the original kit car platform? I remember for its time it was way ahead ofhte pack. Even today, they look like a pretty solid foundation to build a competition car from.
