Rear Wing/Spoiler Question
« on: May 14, 2010 - 05:52:05 PM »
Hi All-
What material was used to manufacture the original rear spoiler/go-wing?
I bought mine (yes, I know it's not the '71 version) from YO.  It's made out of either plastic (my guess) or fiberglass.
I have a friend that has a 1970 Mustang and his wing is made out of metal.

Also, I just saw on ebay, a rear wing advertised as "as manufactured, not fiberglass."  However,  they forgot to mention what material is used.

Thanks,
Ron

It wasn't metal. I think they were all some form of plastic, maybe ABS.   :dunno:
