Was this a real eBay auction?

Well, it looks like I Won the Buy It Now auction, but the deal is just too good to be true.  I contacted what I thought was eBay Customer Service and they say it's real, but it just seams too unreal and wishful thinking.  How can I tell one way or another on this?  A fool and his money are easily parted.

I typed in the auction number and came up empty. No auction exists under that number. What are you talking about?

These scam artists have copied eBays on line customer service support system so when you ask "was this a real eBay auction", they say yes and even copy it to your ebay account!!  Then they sent me the payment info to send the $ to Bank of America, with a routing number, account number and Beneficary Name of Shelia Caraway (that's a big RED flag)!  They are just trying to capitolize on the buyers desire to get a "too good to be true deal".  I'm certain it's fake, otherwise everyone would be able to see the completed auction and not just me.

I had an instance where a guy was selling speakers. He had a seperate link to click on them to see them. Turns out that enabled him to collect all my ebay info, and he started to "sell" things under my name and account. I started getting emails from people wondering where there products were. I contacted ebay security and they got it stopped. They said that was the first time they had seen that scam before. I had to email everyone and tell them it wasn't me. It was set up as a 24 hour auction. Stay away from those! I am in the U.S. The guy that stole my identity was in England.
