Did all '70--'74 Cudas have carbon cannisters and where did they sit? Mine is a May of '72. Thanks

My '73 340 which was made in OCT 72 has the can.  It is up front on the passenger side next to the windshield washer jug.  I'd bet my left shoe lace that 74's had them but i am not sure about the other years before 73.

All 72-74 cars had them.  Early 72 cars had a different vapor separator system in the rear but still used the charcole canister in the engine compartment.

As I understand it the '72 did not have the large center hose as found on the 73-4, prior years did not have one. ....I've got a good running '72 Thermoquad to sell if your interested.
