Moparal Visits...Had Good TIMEing
« on: June 03, 2010 - 10:45:51 PM »
Alan found his way out of the back woods today & made it to the Big ole Bad city of Huntsville.   Found him wondering around back of our business stalking our old Goat that's been put out to pasture... Took him to a high falutin big city restaurant where we were treated to apparently tiny portions of Cajun fair, guess it wasn't to awfully bad as he ate it all.
Headed back to my digs where we dusted off the '73 & Al went about tinkering & right off found that I was getting no vacuum advance...what made him start checking that I don't know but his sense of the problem was dead on...Retarded I believe he mumbled...thought he might have been referring to me  :smilielol:  Anyways Al suggests we time the engine using the 36* advance at 3K method so I go about marking the damper get the timing light on & we can't even see the mark when at 3k so I start advancing the timing....Al says "right there".... So I rev her back up & shoot the light at the damper.....Dead On.....Howd he do dat?
He was in a hurry to get back to the Pond, guess he was gettin hungry.  Last I saw of him he was on the trail of a wild Plymouth seen in my hood...Guess he's the original Cuda-Stalker.
Alan come back when you can stay awhile.

Something for your Bird Buddies to enjoy

Maybe we should call him the Phantom, he appears when needed, fixes the problem and moves on.......
