is it not possible to run headers on a BB with a normal starter...?
You sure can, I did it for years with Hooker Super Comps on my big block Roadrunner.  I went with Mopar Performance mini starters on both of my cars mainly for extra clearance plus they spin the engines faster for easier starts.  Before mini starters I could always tell a Mopar before it fired up just by the distinctive (& slow) way the stock starters turned over the big Mopar engines.  They worked fine, but if you ever have to take it back out you'll be happier if you went with a mini.

ok,
so do starters from let`s say, a `95 voyager v6, bolt right into a BB or does it need to be altered...?

yes, the typically bolt right in, but, since most late model cars have a large integrated wire harness connection, some starters require a bit of tweaking to the battery cable connection to avoid hitting the block.

Guys:
Look at the post by BIGSHCLUNK.  That unit it made by a company that I am VERY familiar with (nudge, nudge, wink, wink).

Many of the Mopar Performance starters, and quite a few of the Chrysler factory starters (especially from trucks) look like that one.  Darn good quality starters, and you can get them from our pal Dave at Roseville Chrysler.  That is the starter you want - And notice where it is made!

No, but I do know any of the 5.2 and 5.9 units interchange perfectly with big block units. Since the 3.9 V6 is a 5.2 with two cylinders lopped off, it should work as well. Any of the Mitsu V6, I wouldn't know for certain.

The '95 front wheel drive mini van is none of the above....3.0, 3.8, & 3.3(most common) and are not on the LA platform..

The mini starters from the front wheel drive minivans WILL NOT work on the V-8's, they have a different snout and won't bolt up.

Was at Carlisle and happened to look at a set of Foose wheels and lo and behold, on back was a big " Made in China" stamp.  For some reason I figured Foose wheels would be made in America.
