You cannot replace stock rods with those and have them match. Because they are a lot heavier and you'll have to weaken them to grind them that far. Rod side clearance does not help oil pressure. It might help ring seal a little but IMO that is debatable too. I'd use your old rods and have them re-done with good blots, or just re-use them if they measure ok. The SIR rods are much lighter whcih again will cause an out of balance condition. Stock replacement pistons do not need to have things balanced, but a rod change from stock to aftermarket changes both the reciprocating weight AND the rotating weight. New rods means it really should be balanced.
