Mirror placement on Cuda

I got a set of rally mirrors that I wanted to put on my 73Cuda. I was hoping some one could give me some measurements to help me position these on the doors.  It only had a round mirror on the drivers side, and the holes are long gone.

I found this

Right... My white car came with both mirrors and they are mounted the same,, 15 inches from the front of the door

               And other statements that the measurements are the same for both sides, on my Challey I was able to use the existing holes in the drivers door & transferred those measurements to the passenger side.
