B-body rear - relocation kit - again..???

I see the difference on mounting plates distance from E to B body is 2"..

Why is all the re-location kit 3/4"...???

That's 3/4" per side.  You usually have to widen the guide holes a little with a grinder also to make it drop in.

It's not really made to install a b-body rear, it's just close enough to work.  It's just the most you can do without getting into the frame rails.

The mopar kit is 3/4". The Dr Diff kit is a straight up 1"

Sure. I wouldn't say there is a lot of room, but we're only talking about a .25 or 6 mm difference.

Why didn't mopar go the full inch, I have no idea. Since it was a racing mod limited by class rules developed in the early 1970s, that may have something to do with it.

Also worth consideration, the Mopar offset hangers are designed for SS springs only. Dr Diff offers two kits, one for SS springs, one for stock length springs. So that is another factor to keep in mind when considering your purchase.
