We had a great time!   We somehow placed 3rd in our class and got to do the winners parade......neat!

Spent MOST of the time walking looking at parts...I think I pretty much did the parts section 3 times at least....found most of my finds the 2nd and 3rd passes. Go figure.

Checked out the rock crawling demo (kool!) and went to the drags.....the drags were cool, as far as what we could see.....we got there late and had poor "seats" until about 8:15 or so. We did get verbally abused by the jackass parking attendent, who was handicapped and somehoe figured that gave him license to be a jackass....but other than that, a cool event too.   Was kind of surprised at the steep fee to get in, considering the accomodations (or lack thereoff).

We didnt make it to the Retro dealership until sunday, and by then it was almost cleared out...the inside displays were mostly still there, but outside folks were gone. Neat to see though.

Overall, a wonderful time.

Time spent with family, friends and Mopars...what coudl be better!

Had a great time. I even practiced my burn out skills in the Quality Inn upper parking lot!! :burnout:. I also made some extra change selling some old parts in the vendor section. Not too shabby as it paid for my gas and lodging. It was great seeing airbody. I did miss MEK, but found his car next to the dealership. Sorry I missed ya Mike. I made it all the way back to Virginia and got behind a tractor trailer in the Monitor Merrimac bridge tunnel when some debris off his truck or already in the road slung up under my car and sheared off my driver's side soleniod for my header cut-outs!! It scared the poop out of me as I thought I had dropped my driveshaft. It was loud and I was in the middle of the tunnel....not a nice place to break down. I pulled over in the emergency lane once I got thru the tunnel and found only the dangling wire to the solenoid. I was steaming mad, but glad it wasn't worse. Ain't nothing but money. If I find more damage, I may claim in on my insurance. But Carlisle was awesome!! Good times and good company. Great job on the brats Jeff & Ashley!! :2thumbs:

I wished more members would have stopped by the tent to say hello, or came to the dinner on Saturday! It would have been great to meet some more great people! I was looking forward to meeting David ( ChallengerHK).  :sadwavey:

I think he was talking about inot2old. We were talking about Cudazappa's yellow car.

But you CAN be "the old guy" if ya want...  :poopoke:

My friend lost his passport, so we couldn't get out of the city until the new one was issued on Friday at 10.
That really put me behind on the fun factor, then we tried a new route that google said was the same amount of time but ended up taking 10 hrs not 7 like my usual route.
I only got Saturday in and that was spent running through the parts, got heat stroke I think because I didn't get half the parts I was to pickup while there(what an idiot).
I even had the part I needed while I was at the Mancini booth, then my friend tells me on the way home that it in my hand put it down and walked out with empty hands and sat down by the car.
Then Sunday I headed out at noon.
I love going but I won't do it if I don't get out of Toronto by 5:30 AM Friday at the latest.
I don't think I talked to more then 3 people that weren't vendors.
Oh well next year will be better.
Jackson from Toronto.
