A co-worker has an `03 Liberty,3.7 and recently the trans is starting to slip a bit.I drove it and it is fine when you take off slow but try and punch it and is slips/shudders a bit.Also if you don`t come to a complete stop it takes a second to go into gear.Any chance it doesn`t need a coplete rebiuld?I had it scanned and no codes but it said it`s running hot and fluid smells a touch burnt.Is there any other diagnosis the dealer or trans shop can do before going for a rebiuld?
