The Good : COMPLETE car not missing a thing
New BFG tires on old 14 " rallyes ( sorry polyglas' were borrowed for pic )
New Clutch , front of motor rebuilt,
new fire wires and ignition.
Radiator recored 4 core .. New Hoses Belts , fuel pump, etc . Newer tank and sending unit. New timing chain and tensioner.
Have new amd decklid and front fenders and trunk extensions included in sale. Trunk floor is mint. I drive this car to work and back a couple times a month to stretch its legs . Tranny shifts well and Its a lotta 4 speed fun-because you can take it to the grocery store and not worry .
Has newer engine mounts and new tranny mount .
Entirely new rebuilt front end.
Needs work on : It IS a NY car , fenders need replaced ( have new ) , rear quarters need a little help maybe extensions ( have new ) rockers need to be cleaned up.
Engine runs strong , could use valve seals , smokes a little on startup . Id put a set of eddys on it and drive it . If youre gonna make it a NICE driver it needs a new vinyl top.
My intent was to put some better suspension in it , stroke it and make it a sleeper AS IS .
BUT Another car has got my attention
You can think Im crazy for my asking price , BUT
with my orig purchase price- parts and labor that Ive put into it or have that go with the car. Its worth it . This is a perfect "drive as you restore car" OR whatever you want to do with it .
Located in Rochester NY , I wouldnt drive it over 300 miles , but you would probably be OK if you had to. I would make sure front end is aligned prior to sale . My trips are susually less than a 1/2 hour so I havent really shooken it out , but Ive been driving it for three years .
Asking 12K cash . You wont spend any time seeking missing parts, time is money. This is practically a barn find with 80,000 miles on it , But its been TLC'd and freshened up to drive.
drivers side pic , passenmger side looks the same , no crazy rot on underside , engine compartment Ok condition , TRUNK is NICE. Never any Bondo or patching so no surprises. WHat you see is what youll work with , EASY resto . Come to NY and inspect , HAve a lift so you can see underside .
