I bought another Mopar
« on: July 24, 2010 - 11:12:09 PM »
The Green '71 Challenger is almost complete.  I found an  orange '71 Dodge Charger.  Buckets 727, 440 not original, the orignal 383 comes with it.   Rough shape needs fenders and a trunk floor.  Drives okay. Haven't told the wife yet. I have to hide it in my parents barn.

Yes it does have the Dixie horn! :bananasmi.

If anyone's awake tonight call or write.  I'm watching a well on the Oklahoma border,   719-393 2900. or tell me to go to chat.

Got to keep busy, idle hands get into mischief.   :working:  You are doing the MOPAR world a favour by resurrecting another power machine.   :burnout:

So are you going back with the 383 or staying with the 440?  I had a 73 Roadrunner which is the same car under the sheetmetal and that thing rode so well it was probably the most comfortable over the road car I ever had, at least for an older one anyway.  I do believe this hobby is a sickness though, I alreadt have my unfinished 70 Roadrunner in addition to the 73 Barracuda and I can't help myself from keeping an eye out for that next Mopar deal....  And I so wish I had a barn somewhere to hide stuff!!
