« on: August 04, 2010 - 11:16:10 PM »

HI Guys.

How much play should there be between rockers and the shaft "up/down" I have a sound there sounds like rocker play. checket the lifters, pushrods and camshaft. But I have some play en the shaft, could it be that sound i looking for.

Thanks Again guys

with a hydraulic cam there should be no vertical play
pull the rockers & use a magnet to remove the lifter & check the bottom of the lifter to be sure the cam has not failed

Thanks Chryco.

Had the lifters up yesterday and checket the cam and lifters, pushrods. Was very fine. But i have 1,5 mm vertical play between the rockers and shaft, to much I believe.
Thanks guys
