i was told by mike at" MRL performance.com" that the biggest problem with the 6pack set up was the intake manifold(tested cars and dynoed engines for ma mopar) .i personally havent used the set up, i would sure hope that a 500+cube  engine would pull great #with or with out a 6 pack on it .  why not fuelinjection? you get every thing milage , performance ect all in one for about the same $ BUT  it doesnt look as cool as a 6pack does i do agree. imop Bill

Seen same comments about running dual quad 500 carters on a SBM...but it seemed about on par with a 650 DP Demon it had--maybe 15HP lost at most--but at times I swore it felt better..no dyno or track numbers..just butt-o-meter.

I do know for sure throttle response was better--more even as you open up the throttle.made it very easy to give it just enough power to past in traffic... power seemed much more even how the gas pedal went down the power picked up. Demon and Holleys I had in the past had dull spots and then hang on...wasn't too bad but I was still noticing months later how more even the power output was running dual Carters...and no bog, no matter how fasted I punched it..not the slightest.

That is called drivability

I took my car to a local amateur car show and a guy was looking at my car talking to his kid.  The hood said 440-6 and he was explaining that the -6 meant that it was supposed to have a six pack but probably didn't.  I said "do you want to see?"  I popped the hood and I think I made both our days...

interesting thread!      Hmmm.  I need a 4 brl intake/carb. for my new 360 in the Duster. I'm considering a Victor/750 Holley HP set up on the cuda and swapping down.   But the "theme' has 6 barrel written all over it. The cost is of some concern.there's no way 8k for efi six.2200 maybe.  Hmmm...   I'd LOVE a six barrel Now you got me thinkin.  :screwy:

Mike who makes that 6pk? I had a rebuilt one and now i got a 870 avenger holly and a m1 intake runs just as good as the sixpack. But i was looking at doing the EFI conversion about 2k also for that setup and no hassles.Check out the site.

Look at the thread "Six Pack EFI - Now Installed" under "Engine & Go-Fast Goodies".

I can't afford that   :money:    It's WAY overpriced.  Looks killer though,I wish...   Saw one in the swap meet in the bag for 7500.00$   The 2250 will happen. Thanks for the teaser pic!   :droolingbounce:
