Holley 1bbls and a '69 Cuda....
« on: March 21, 2002 - 11:06:20 AM »

??? ???

Ok, Here's a puzzler for you guys...

My 'Cuda has a Holley 1bbl and the one that is currently on the car, I got from a trusted friend. When I got the carb from him, I just bolted it right on and fired the car up and tuned her. Now, I'm having a stalling problem. I think she's not getting enough air, because when she stalls, I can see a lot of excess gas sitting in the carb. If I blow on the gas, it evaporates, then she'll fire right up. I've got a spare air cleaner assemply from a /6 Charger. I'm thinking about modifying that one to see if I can get more air into her.

Any suggestions??

Later,

Mike

I guess I can try tearing apart my carb and hopefully swapping parts in and out with the spare (original) one that I have.... I'm really beginning to hate carbs.... I WANT TPI!!!!! :'( :'( :'(
