Which Radiator?
« on: July 24, 2010 - 08:58:00 PM »
I need to know the part number of the correct 22 inch radiator  for my 70 Challenger RT, 383 HP, automatic, 3.23 gears and no air.  The correct radiator is long gone and as I am restoring the car I need to know which one is correct.  Your help will be greatly appreciated!  PK

Great!  Thanks Catfish.  Looks like two numbers could work for my car--2998957 or 2998960.  The chart seems to indicate either number is ok.  I appreciate the link.  PK

the early production Challs had the upper rad hose on the left side above the lower hose , approx 3 months into production the rad switched to the upper rad hose connecting on the right side of the rad forcing the rad to cross flow , it should cool better with the cross flow later rad , mine was an Aug built car & has the early left side rad as original equipment

Neil,  thanks for the info.  Pretty sure mine would be crossflow because my seq # in the VIN is pretty high...
