A 275/60/15 tire is 28" which in turn is 89" round, with my 3.55 when I had my automatic in the Cuda it was 2850 rpm @ 65mph....
Short highway trips its not bad, but driving longer ones gets old..

Be careful taking those "tire size designations" as gospel.    Youre best off going to the manufacturers's website and getting the PHYSICAL dimensions of the exact tire size they have it converted to.   They arent as exact as you might think they are, there is a lot of variability.   Plus calculate in wear.

To get a more accurate tire size measurement  you should inflate a rear tire to the pressure you normally run.  Then measure from the ground to the center of the axel (hub) and double that number for your tire diameter.  This then will account for tire deflection while driving and eleminates concern for tire wear etc.  Front wheel tire deflection would be different due to weight of engine.  Another point, you should have  your normal load such as fuel, passengers, stuff in trunk etc. to get normal deflection on rear tire.  PK
