Wheel stud?
« on: August 26, 2010 - 05:23:39 PM »
When I bought my 72 Cuda one of the studs was dinged up bad . It has disk brakes up front and I can not find a stud that fits. The number that is on it is 260-148 and the Dodge dealer said he could not help me. Any one know where I can find one?

Go to rockauto.com to look up the PN, then you should be able to pick up at any local parts store

I checked the parts stores they did not have the right one. And the local Dodge dealer could not give us a number or any ideas on where to find one. It looks bad when the Dodge dealers can not help us out. All they said was it was discontinued and good luck finding one.

Katfish they are different than the studs I need. I need the 1"15/16" long with a .625 dia shoulder length of about 3/4" the rest is threaded. I ground down the tip on this one so I could get the nut started on. But I would still like to find the right ones. That way if needed latter I could replace them.
