Water pump installation

Installing a new aluminum water pump from mancinis and there is no weep hole.  There is however a yellow dot around the area of the where the weep hole would be. should i mount with that down down or does it not matter?

weird , usually there is a hole if only to allow for heat expansion
I would call Mancinis & see if there pumps normally have the hole & this one was missed accidentily
usually there is Top marked on the pump housing too
