roll cage
« on: November 06, 2004 - 12:28:12 AM »
While surfing for parts I came across 2 roll cage kits. One from Competition Engineering and one from Jeg's. Both are made for my 68 cuda and both meet NHRA specs. The price of the Jeg's kit is only $219.00 and unknown on the CE kit. Question is, has anyone here had any experience with either of these kits or know of some other?

I purchased S&W kit and it work pretty good. I know alot of kits still need a little tweeking here and there.
I would agree with Chryco  Psycho.....If you have a bender you can do it easy and make the fit more to your needs. thumbs

Wish I had a bender (along with a dozen other toys) but all I have is a mig, a good shop to work in, and lots of time . I'm not familiar with the S&W kit --elaborate please.

I bought one a few years ago then discovered it isn't THAT type of bender. Its for gas pipe and water pipe - even tho they don't say so. I just crushed thin wall pipe
